  • 1996 Currencies Direct is founded, and we make our very first money transfer
  • 1999 We open our first European branch in Torrevieja, Spain
  • 2004 We open our office in Cape Town, South Africa
  • 2005 We expand our operations and opened our office in Mumbai
  • 2005 We make it onto the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list
  • 2007 We open our office in USA
  • 2008 Our online money transfer service launches
  • 2009 The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) authorise us
  • 2010 We achieve the highest possible credit rating, level 1, with Dun & Bradstreet
  • 2011 We open our office in Nice, France
  • 2012 Our group is recognised as a Global Growth Company by the World Economic Forum
  • 2012 We appoint PwC as our auditors
  • 2013 Our employee numbers exceeded 250
