Customers often use regular payments for things like pension payments or monthly income, overseas bills and mortgages, and student fees or payments to family.
You can set up regular transfers to go through monthly or quarterly, and there’s no limit on how many regular payments you want to set up on your account.
If you need to make any other ad hoc transfers, you can send up to £25,000 24/7 online or using our app. For sums above £25,000, you’ll need to call us so we can get you the best exchange rate.
Yes, you can change or cancel your regular payment, but you’ll need to let us know at least two working days before the payment is due to go out.

We won’t charge you anything for cancelling your payments. However, if a payment goes through and you want to reverse it then this may come with a cost, as you’ll be converting the currency twice.
You can schedule regular transfers from as little as £150, and there is no upper limit. However, we may need to do more rigorous compliance checks on larger transfers. Your account manager will talk you through this when you set up your regular payments.
We understand that regular payments need to be punctual and reliable. Our team is on hand to help make sure your payment arrives on time.
This often means factoring in the processing time when you set up your regular payment, as it can take up to eight working days to clear the direct debit and transfer the funds to your payee. Your personal account manager will be able to help you with this.
