CD South Africa: Rand weaker thanks to stronger dollar
Currencies Direct November 26th 2015 - < 1 minute read
The rand has weakened overnight as better than expected US data signalled good growth in the US economy. The US Federal Reserve is no doubt licking its lips as the positive US data keeps rolling out.
The rest of the week should be a quiet one, with limited risks for the rand as the Thanksgiving holiday lowers market activity. The only data out today worth the watch will be South Africa’s production figures at 11h30.
Have a great day and happy Thanksgiving to all our American clients!
