CD South Africa: SA Budget headlines taxing week
Currencies Direct February 23rd 2015 - < 1 minute read

Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene will deliver his Budget on Wednesday, with this year's juggling act including employment, energy and investment spending. How will he pay for all of this? Taxes, taxes, taxes… you can probably dream on if you're hoping for another round of tax relief, with the minister expected to raise taxes for high income earners.
Other highlights for the week include South African and German gross domestic product figures, the Eurozone's consumer prices index, speeches from the European Central Bank and US Federal Reserve on Tuesday, Chinese manufacturing data on Wednesday, and rounding off the week on Friday are the South African trade balance and US gross domestic product numbers (what a line-up!). It's going to be exciting, enjoy!
