Despite talks of a 'Grexit' (Greek exit from the Eurozone), global markets went wild yesterday as the prospect of imminent cheap euros sent investors scouring the world for returns. The only exception to this being the rand as the economic reality of near daily load shedding for the next few months sank in. Today is once again a quiet one as we build-up to Thursday's local interest rate announcement, with the SARB holding the key to the rand's next move.
