Client Account Manager – France

Summary

Currencies Direct has been a leading foreign exchange provider since 1996. The company has 22 global offices and employs more than 500 financial service professionals.

This is an incredible opportunity to join an exciting and dynamic team located within our Head Office in London. Your main responsibility will be to help French speaking clients register for our services and make foreign exchange transactions. You will also be responsible for regenerating lapsed affiliates and developing new French affiliate opportunities.

The position will provide you with exposure to FX dealing and international business development. It will also allow you to access fantastic career development opportunities whilst realising your remuneration goals.

About the role

This Client Account Manager role is all about acquiring new clients and generating profit from their currency transfers, whilst providing exemplary service. Your time will also be spent contacting lapsed affiliates and generating new affiliate opportunities via proactive sales methods.

Currencies Direct has established one of the largest and most effective networks of global affiliate partnerships in the foreign exchange sector. You will be tasked with identifying, engaging and managing new partnership opportunities using a collaborative approach. Your target audience will be French private clients and professional service providers seeking to add value to their current offering.

The Currencies Direct French team has an excellent suite of products and services for private clients living in or moving to France. Currencies Direct has invested heavily in regulatory compliance and technology, in combination with online and offline brand development. This has enhanced the perception of the business both with customers directly and partners.

About you

We’re looking for an ambitious sales professional who is motivated by success and keen to further develop their business development skills whilst getting exposure to the French market place. You must have demonstrable experience in performance financial service related sales or managing affiliate partnerships that create revenue.

The successful candidate must be well connected and driven by businesses interactions, as well as naturally effective at building relationships and creating influence over the phone,face to face, through networking, social media and attendance at events, when required.

Key competencies

  1. French speaker – ideally fluent or to a good business level
  2. Have demonstrable FX or financial services dealing experience
  3. Resourceful, articulate and action orientated and able to deliver business results through affiliate channels
  4. Demonstrable record of business development
  5. Knowledge and experience of financial sales and deliverable foreign exchange is a strong advantage
  6. Ideally degree educated and proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM(Salesforce)
