After graduating from university Yogesh started his career at Coopers and Lybrand (PWC) in Tanzania. Since then he has gone on to have a varied and successful career with Travelex, who he joined nearly 20 years ago, in the fields of financial, treasury, dealing and risk management. In 2002, post-acquisition of Thomas Cook Financial Services, as the Group Board Member, Yogesh took on the leadership of Travelex's Worldwide Commercial Foreign Exchange and Global payments business.

Yogesh has an MBA from Henley Management College specialising in business transformation and is widely recognized as an innovator who has challenged conventional and traditional banking methodologies in the payment and cash management market. His expertise and knowledge in the global foreign exchange and international payments market made him ideally suited to spearhead Currencies Directs' commercial foreign exchange business.

Yogesh specialises in radical change management and has conducted seminars and workshops on corporate transformation.

He states that he shares his personal motto "It's not what you do but how you do it" with the management of the Currencies Direct Group and this resonates from the philosophy "Business is all about people and values".
