Corporate social responsibilityCurrencies Direct believe that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goes beyond charity and extends to doing the right thing by our people, partners, customers and communities. We understand our role and responsibility in the community, both local and global, and we have a structured, long term programme in place to make this commitment a reality.
Our staff is at the heart of our CSR program, it is an ethos and approach that is owned by them. Our CSR champions are representative of all parts of the business, this committee is responsible for co-ordinating and promoting the Currencies Direct CSR culture whilst encouraging our enthusiastic staff worldwide to get involved in a wide range of fundraising activities close to their hearts.
We support PERSONAL causes such as helping the ill child of one of our staff members in Spain; we commit to regular donations; we work in the COMMUNITY such as becoming part of Business in the Community where we do volunteer work as well as raising money, we like a CHALLENGE – 25 team members are running around the world and every Friday we enjoy having FUN supporting our chosen charities. Thirty-three different charities benefitted from our dress-down Fridays, feet up for the football and Movember events among others.
